That's a great question.......
Like pretty much everybody else said, I would have done exactly what Bush did in Afghanistan, however I would not have moved into Iraq so quickly. I would have made finding Bin Laden my #1 priority. Who knows maybe they do have him. Or maybe he is dead.
I don't have a problem with the Patriot Act. At that time we didn't know if Al Queda was planning more attacks so it was necessary to do anything that we could to get the CIA/FBI more info. If it weren't for the Patriot Act who knows there may have been more 9/11's that weren't caught.
I also don't have a problem with Bush's "Axis of Evil" comment. Flat out terrorism is "Evil" and I think he was right to go after every terorist until they are all dead. I don't believe in letting some terrorists live like others evidentally do.
Once Bin Laden was caught, or atleast not a threat anymore, than I would have went after Saddam. The UN spent 12 years and 16 resolutions trying to resolve the Iraq issue peacefully with no effect. We went in there and within 30 days Saddam was out of power. I however would not have given Saddam 3 months to hide his weapons. I would not have told him when we were coming. Unfortunately because of the Liberals in this country calling for more UN resolutions and more free passes for Saddam we had to give him a deadline which gave him plenty of time to hide his weapons. Bad move in my opinion. Had we not waited, and given him warning we would have gone in, found the weapons, and the whole world would have been on our side....except France of course.
